Terms and Conditions Guests
Disclaimer
For the sake of clarity, 80 Minute Game Limited has no affiliation whatsoever with Rugby World Cup Limited, Rugby New Zealand 2011 Limited or the International Rugby Board , but we have received a set of guidelines from Rugby World Cup Limited under which we (and other accommodation providers who wish to offer accommodation in connection with RWC 2011) are permitted to operate in order to service the accommodation needs of independent travellers to RWC 2011.
These terms and conditions will be emailed to the applicant when a Contract to Hire is requested and when a booking is confirmed. In order that a property is confirmed, a separate email from the applicant confirming that they have read, understood and accept the Terms and conditions and the Contract of Hire, will be received by the Company prior to confirmation of a rental booking. (This clause is for the sole protection of the owner.)
Contract of Hire
This contract is between the guests and the Owner with 80 Minute Game Ltd acting as Property Managers.
Holiday Booking Confirmation
The process for confirming a booking will be as follows:
· 80 Minute Game and the guests work together to confirm a property. When agreement on tariff and property has been reached, the guest will complete the Contract of Hire
· 80 Minute Game Ltd will send email confirmation of acceptance and will then create an invoice for the deposit
· Guest to pay a 20% non refundable deposit (by way of Direct Credit in NZ International Money Transfer or Credit Card payment.)
· Upon receipt 80 Minute Game Ltd will send written confirmation of the deposit being received and confirming the booking details including an invoice for the balance.
· Once this process has been completed, then the booking is deemed to be confirmed.
Payment
The deposit is due to confirm the booking.
Once the company has confirmed the booking as stated above, the guest is responsible for the full tariff as shown on the confirmation invoice. The balance is due 20th of the month following confirmation or by prior arrangement if requested PRIOR to the confirmation of the booking.
Where the guest selects an installment payment option, the company and the guest will together work out a plan where the full rental due for the stay will be paid six (6) calendar months prior to the commencement of the rental.
Where the guest selects an installment payment option, the guest confirms that once the payment plan of installments has been agreed between them and 80 Minute Game Ltd, the guest will abide by that plan. The contract is deemed to be cancelled in the event the guest misses a payment. Any money paid will be refunded to the guest except the 20% non-refundable deposit.
Bond
Unless specified in the listing, the bond shall be $2,000 taken against a credit card at the time the occupation commences. The guest should have available a valid and current credit card when met at the property at the commencement of the stay. The bond will be used to recover costs associated with any damage to the property or extra cleaning required at the conclusion of the stay.
Where the guest stays at multiple properties, the same bond applies and will be transferred to each property at the conclusion of the stay when the company is satisfied that no issues have been presented.
Cancellation Policy
If a booking is cancelled and 80 Minute Game Ltd is able to find alternative guests, all money paid (excluding the 20% deposit) will be refunded. Where an alternative booking cannot be secured, the following applies:
· 6 months + prior to commencement of the booking: 80% of the money paid refunded
· 3-6 months prior to commencement of the booking: 50% of money paid refunded
· 1-3 months prior to commencement of the booking: 25% of money paid refunded
· Less than one month No refund
Changes to Holiday Bookings
The first alteration to a confirmed booking will incur no fee. Any additional changes will incur a $35 administration fee payable by way of credit card charge each time a change is made.
Arrival and departure times
The property will be ready for occupation from 8am on the day you have booked your arrival and should be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure. (Unless specifically agreed at the booking confirmation process.)
Barbecues, Fireplaces, Woodfires, Log Fires, Gas Heaters
The guests is responsible for the replacement of all consumables (i.e gas bottle refilled on departure). Some properties may have wood available for fireplaces as indicated on the individual property listing. The guest is responsible for the safe use of all barbecues, fire places and gas heaters. 80 Minute Game accepts no liability for damage to property, personal possessions or people through use of Barbecues, wood fires, log fires or gas heaters.
Home availability
80 Minute Game Ltd holiday contract is made on the understanding that the property and its facilities as stated will be available to the guest. Should events outside of the control of 80 Minute Game Ltd arise and render the property unavailable (i.e. flood, fire etc) then 80 Minute Game Ltd may be forced to cancel the holiday booking. However should such circumstances arise, 80 Minute Game Ltd will endeavour to find alternative accommodation and relocate the guests to a holiday home of similar standard in the same area if possible. If no alternative home is available in the same area, 80 Minute Game Ltd will endeavour to find a home of similar standard in a different area and contribute towards internal travel costs capped at $1,000 but at the sole discretion of 80 Minute Game Ltd for the guest between the new home location and the games they wish to view. In this event, the guest will have no further claim against the owner of the holiday home, or 80 Minute Game Ltd.
Responsibilities of the guest
The guest is responsible for the property and its contents during their stay. 80 Minute Game Ltd expects the guest to take all responsible care of the property and at the end of their holiday to leave the property as they find it on arrival. This includes ensuring the property is secured when leaving the property and at night. On departure, the guests are required to clean all utensils and equipment, returning all furniture and appliances to where they were on guest arrival and disposing of all rubbish in the bins provided.
Linen and Towels
The property will be supplied with linen and towels for use during the rental period. The guest will ensure that these remain at the property at all times. On departure, linen and towels should be washed, dried and put away. Where departure flights do not allow this, notification must be provided to 80 Minute Game Ltd but beds should be stripped and dirty linen in the laundry ready for cleaning.
Departure Clean
All properties have a departure cleaning fee of $125 incl GST. On departure, the guests are required to clean all utensils and equipment, turn the dishwasher on etc, returning all furniture and appliances to where they were on guest arrival and disposing of all rubbish in the bins provided. And to strip the beds as indicated above.
Group Size
The number of people occupying the property is under no circumstances, to exceed the number of people (stated on the booking form and signed by the guest) shown on the guests confirmation. The contract will be terminated by 80 Minute Game Ltd if the guests number is exceeded.
Party Rule
80 Minute Game Ltd has a NO PARTY rule for all properties. The properties are not to be used for commercial activities such as weddings, parties, workshops, gatherings or any other functions.
Damage / Accident
The guest is legally responsible for all breakages and damage that may occur during the holiday. As part of the authorization process, the guest agrees to indemnify the owner for such damage or breakages. (You should advise your Travel Insurance Company of your accommodation booking to ensure coverage under the liability section of their policy.) Any breakages or damage must be reported to 80 Minute Game Ltd immediately. 80 Minute Game Ltd will make every effort to remedy the situation by contacting the owner for instructions e.g. organizing a tradesman for repairs, this being at the sole discretion of the owner.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend travel insurance is arranged to coincide with confirmation of the booking of your accommodation.
Property Features
Where additional amenities such as spa pools, swimming pools, barbeque or outdoor fires, kayaks etc are being shown as available, the use of any such additional amenities is entirely at the guest’s risk. 80 Minute Game Ltd and the owner accept no responsibility for any injury or lossor any associated claims or costs to the guest or their belongings so please be aware and take responsibility of your own safety whilst using such leisure equipment.
Belongings
Personal belongings are at the risk of the guest at all times. 80 Minute Game Ld and the owner accept no liability for any injury or loss to the guest or their belongings.

All information displayed on 80 Minute Game Ltd website which is supplied by property owners is believed to be true and correct at the time of loading to the website. However, all details contained in the website is subject to change without prior notice. 80 Minute Game Ltd accepts no responsibility for any alterations to the property description made beyond its control i.e. damage caused by exceptional weather conditions, breakdown of appliances, wiring or plumbing, invasion of pests or negligence on the part of the owner causing loss, accidental or injury.

Points of Law
Should a dispute arise between the guest and 80 Minute Game Ltd which is unable to be mutually resolved, the matter will be referred to arbitration. The appointment of a suitably qualified arbitrator will be made by the President for the time being of the Arbitrators and Mediators Institute of New Zealand. Such arbitration to be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Arbitration Act 1996 and shall be final.
Force Majeure
80 Minute Game Ltd will not be held responsible for non-availability or early termination of a rental contract by reason of any matter, type or nature whatsoever such as an act of war, natural disaster or acts of God.
